MOFF WEEKEND ONE: GMRI JULY 28 – 30


MOFF Weekend One, proudly presented by Baxter Brewing, will be held at the Gulf of Maine Research Institute, located at 350 Commercial St, Portland, ME 04101 July 28 – 30, 2022.

-Doors at 7PM pm, films begin at 8PM, end approximately 10PM
-In the case of foul weather:
-If a screening is postponed because of rain or inclement weather, it will take place the following Monday night at the same location of the originally scheduled screening.
-We’ll attempt to make any postponement call by 4pm on the day of the screening, and will email all ticket purchasers. We’ll also post on our home page, social media and the event screening page.
-Tickets purchased for the original screening will be honored at the makeup screening.
-Ticket purchasers will also have the option of transferring their ticket to another screening or transferring to a virtual ticket.
-Doors open at 6PM on July 29 for Expert Panel: “Climate Change Storytelling: Anadromous Fish” 6:30 to 7:30
-Please bring your own camp chair/blanket.
-Beer and Wine available for purchase with ID.
-Local food trucks will be joining us for the event.
-Outside water/snacks are allowed.
-No pets allowed.
-This event will adhere to any prevailing state guidelines for public safety in light of COVID-19.
-Tickets: http://moff.film / $15 advance, $18 at the door.
-Weekend and full festival passes are also available.

*NOTE: this screening at Deering high FieldsJoin the Maine Outdoor Film Festival, Smooth Feather and the Boston International Kids Film Festival for a FREE community outdoor screening on Sunday July 31, 2022 at the fields behind Deering High School Gymnasium. BYO Camp Chair/Blanket.

MOFF Weekend Two, proudly presented by Baxter Brewing, will be held at the Eastern Promenade, located between the tennis courts and the softball field, at the end of Montreal St, on Portland’s Eastern Promenade

-Doors at 7PM pm, films begin at 8PM, end approximately 10PM
-Please bring your own camp chair/blanket.
-Local food trucks will be joining us for the event, and additional food trucks may be available at the Eastern Promenade.
-For the Eastern Prom screenings, attendees are welcome to BYO Refreshments.
-No pets allowed per city ordinances.
-This event will adhere to any prevailing state guidelines for public safety in light of COVID-19.
Tickets: $15 advance, $18 at the door.

MOFF WEEKEND THREE: APRÈS, AUGUST 11 – 14

MOFF Weekend Three, proudly presented by Baxter Brewing, will be held at Après located at 148 Anderson St, Portland, ME 04101, August 11 – 14, 2022.

-Doors at 7PM, films begin at 8PM, end approximately 10PM
-Expert Panels: Doors at 6PM on August 12 & 14 for Expert Panels: “How’d You Get That Shot” (8/12, 6:30 – 7:30PM) and “Stories From The Field: Maine Women Filmmakers Talk Shop” (8/14, 6:30 – 7:30PM). These panels are held before the screenings and open to ticket holders only.
-Join us for MOFF Field Day, co-hosted by Maine Outdoor Brands on August 13, from 2-6PM. This free community event will feature warehouse deals on outdoor gear and apparel from Maine Outdoor Brands companies, live music, food trucks, games, info tables from dozens of local nonprofits and businesses and the TSHIRTSWAPAGANZA!
-Please bring your own camp chair/blanket.
-Baxter beer, and of course, Après signature seltzer available for purchase with ID.
-Local food trucks will be joining us for the screenings.
-Outside water/snacks are allowed.
-Dogs are welcome, but we ask dog owners to be courteous and remember folks are there to enjoy a film screening.
-This event will adhere to any prevailing state guidelines for public safety in light of COVID-19.
