Filmmaker Bio:

Breech Asher Harani is a filmmaker, photographer and visual artist from the Davao Region in the Philippines. He is the founder of Alexandrite Pictures, an independent studio that creates artworks that raises awareness on social issues such as migration, social inclusion, environment, culture and biodiversity. He is the first Filipino JCS International Young Creatives Recepient by the International Academy of Television Arts and Sciences and the only Filipino listed in the Arts Category by Forbes for the ‘30 Under 30’ Asia Class of 2020.

“Majority of the shots of the film was taken by a Drone. One of the drones fell down in the ocean while filming.
The videos were taken as part of my advocacy on preserving our natural landscapes in Davao Region.
It is such an honor to be a finalist for this opportunity.”
