This lighthouse film odyssey across New England, explores the regions final act to save these American sentinels that once defined a nation, now deemed excess, where individuals fight to preserve their structures and recount their folklore before their lights go dim.

Three thoughts from the filmmaker:
The concept The Last Lightkeepers originally started as a series of short films. Most of the film was created with camera gear that could fit in one or two backpacks while traveling to some of the offshore lighthouses. During one of the shoots, we popped the inflatable raft heading back to the main boat, we managed to get back safely without getting wet or losing any gear!
