Filmmaker Statement: Last Days – Summer” takes place on the Down East coast of Maine. It’s a late summer day and a lone sea kayaker loads up and paddles east to the islands for a day of gunk holing, swimming, barnacle running, rock climbing, and cliff jumping, and of course, just plain soaking up the last rays of the season.
