Filmmaker Bio:

Bob Krist is a retired National Geographic photographer who picked up filmmaking late in his career and now spends his summers making short films about his adopted state of Maine from his base in Boothbay Harbor.

Three thoughts from the filmmaker:

1. Captain Gene Willard is a six generation mariner who was born on Peaks Island, one of the islands he visits daily with the Maquoit II ferry. 2. Amazon packages are taking up more and more deck space every year. 3. Porta Potties are necessary but very delicate cargo!
