Mike Libecki: Pursuit of Passion
by Three Strings Productions – 4 minutes
Passion for adventure is contagious and the more you’re exposed to the outdoor lifestyle the more it gets in your blood. Nobody knows this more than Goal Zero Ambassador Mike Libecki. He has logged over 50 expeditions, filled multiple passports with over 100 stamped pages and climbed and explored some of the most remote regions of the planet. The contagious nature of Mike’s passion for adventure has now started to find a place in the heart of the next generation.

Une balade à la mer (A ride towards the sea)
by Damien Stein – 3 minutes
An animated everyman goes on a quest to the sea, without dialog or melodramatic music. A thoughtful naturalistic land and soundscape in a quirky morality tale.

Tow Pony
by Joel Osgood – 4 minutes
“The best memories I have are when brother and I were just tykes. We’d hike the back 40 behind our home in Maine. Oftentimes we’d find snowy ravines, perfect for carving some turns. While hiking was good for us, we wanted something more. Our own ski hill. Complete with our own motorized rope tow.”

Moments from Hogback
by No Umbrella Media – 6 minutes
Wood and steel. The New England Runner Sled Championships takes place each February on Hogback Mountain in Montville, Maine.

15 minute break

The Maine premiere of:
Fifty Lakes One Island
by George Desort – 51 minutes
During 2011, Chicago filmmaker George Desort spent a total of eighty nights on Isle Royale National Park on Lake Superior. Traveling alone with his camera equipment and as much food as he could fit into his kayak, Desort explored the rugged terrain of the island, filming himself each step of the way.
