Maine Outdoor Film Festival

An international festival of adventure, conservation, and the arts in Portland, Maine.

MOFF 2020 Portland is still on!

However, it is going to look a little different than what we envisioned when the planning process began 18 months ago.

We’re saving all the awesome big-crowd stuff (State Theatre, Eastern Prom, AURA, the Bay Mist boat cruise, the interactive panels and the Gear & Beer at the Gulf of Maine Research Institute) for 2021.

Instead, this summer, we’re going to hold a series of relaxed, 45-person outdoor screenings at various outdoor locations in the Greater Portland area..

We’ll curate multiple blocks of films, with no overlapping content, so attendees can attend multiple events and not see duplicate content.

We’ll also be offering an online version of each of the blocks available simultaneously to the live events.

MOFF 2020 venues and films to be announced by July 1

Note: These in-person screenings will follow the letter and the spirit of prevailing safety guidelines at the time, with plenty of outdoor space for social distancing, and extra face masks on hand (while supplies last).

Attendees must purchase a ticket in advance to gain access to these live events, which will most likely sell out because of the small number of tickets available.

**If COVID-19 forces us to cancel our in-person event patrons will have the choice of receiving a full refund or transferring to an online ticket.
