Welcome to the Maine Outdoor Film Festival, an international festival of adventure, conservation, and the arts in Portland, Maine. MOFF 2020 will feature 60+ films across multiple venues and show international and Maine-made documentaries, athlete profiles, environmental calls to action, satire, features, shorts, and more. Each screening program is thoughtfully curated to connect, educate, and inspire.
Festival passes for the Maine Outdoor Film Festival are on sale at the “early bird” rate through April 1.
[IMPORTANT UPDATE, March 23, 2020]
MOFF 2020 Portland is, as of this writing, still on. While we practice social distancing and monitor the outbreak, we are cautiously optimistic about holding our inaugural flagship Portland event, as planned, July 30 to August 2, 2020. In the meantime, we are also preparing for multiple contingencies, which include:
-Increasing the number of outdoor venues
-Limiting indoor events
-Holding an online only festival
-Postponing the event
MOFF is still 4+ months away so until there is more information and clarity on the projected future–in regards to public safety and health–we’ll continue preparing. Again, as of today, MOFF 2020 will go on.
