Synopsis:

“One of the largest conservation efforts in the history of the United States, the Continental Divide National Scenic Trail (CDT) is much more than just a line on a map: it is a living museum of the American West, a place to reconnect with nature, and a unifying force bringing people of all walks of life together.
continentaldividetrail.org As a national non-profit, Continental Divide Trail Coalition’s (CDTC) mission is to create a community committed to constructing, promoting, and protecting, in perpetuity, the CDT, which stretches from Canada to Mexico, through Montana, Idaho, Wyoming, Colorado, and New Mexico. In 2017, partnering with the CDTC, Big Agnes adopted a 75-mile stretch of the CDT that runs through the national forest and wilderness that stretches from southeast of Steamboat Springs, CO to the Wyoming border. In the summer of 2018, our company completed the 740 miles of CDT from NM to WY to raise awareness for the trail, tackle a huge goal as a group, and spread some trail magic. We hope Border to Backyard inspires others to experience the CDT but also to see the bigger picture of why taking care of our public lands and trails is more important now than ever.”
